Oof, this is a special one for me… I photographed my best friends elopement!! To not only be able to witness & be a part of, but to also CAPTURE my best friend marrying the love of her life – easily the best moment of my career so far. Years ago I told Alyssa I would never photograph her wedding because I wanted to be able to enjoy her day with her, but when she finally met her person it was clear these two weren’t going to have a traditional wedding. The love that Ben and Alyssa have is quiet, intimate, beautiful & sacred… it made sense to everyone when they chose to forgo the big wedding and elope. This past weekend we drove to the redwoods, got these two married amongst the forest & then did gorgeous photos along the cliffs/at the beach. With only their closest friends by their side they promised forever to each other. I wish I could relive this day with them over and over again. I couldn’t be happier for these two!!
